Mrs. LaFaye W. Boone, 51, died Sunday night in a local hospital from an apparent heart attack. Funeral services were Tuesday at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home. Rev. Ben Sloan and Rev. Dr. Richard Bailey officiated. Burial was in Magnolia Cemetery.
Mrs. Boone was born in Darlington County, a daughter of the late William and Laurie Hatfield Warren Sr. She attended the Morton Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are her husband, D.T. Boone of Hartsville; two sons, Daniel T. Boone III, Charles C. Boone; one daughter, Miss Crystal LaFaye Boone, all of Hartsville; one brother, William Warren Jr. and one sister, Mrs. Joyce Kelly, also of Hartsville.
Pallbearers were Larry Chapman, Boot Shoemake, Amos Smith, Woodrow Outlaw, J.W. Hodges, and Lawrence Wallace.
