Marie Booth, 86, of Lubbock died Saturday under Hospice care. Graveside services will be held 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Franklin-Bartley Funeral Home. Her family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7 p.m. this evening at the funeral home.
Marie was born in Chillicothe to William Granville and Wreathy (Strickland) Golleher. She married Ray W. Booth on December 24, 1941 in Abilene. He preceded her in death in 1979. She was a dietician for the LISD for over 25 years.
She is survived by her son, Bob Booth of Roswell, N.M.; a daughter, Nina Elliott of Wolfforth; two brothers, two sisters, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
