Jack Baggett was preceded in death by a spouse,Marcia L. Mullis Baggett (1952-1997), they were married on Dec. 19, 1974,
his parents, James Rufus Baggett and Mary Frances Fountain Baggett, a step-son Dan Kirkley (1985-2011), a brother, James Hugh Baggett(1943-2007), his mother-in-law, Vera Arrington and a brother-in-law, Glenn Fountain, also grandparents,
Eddie Oscar Baggett (1884-1935) and
Alma Thomas Baggett (1886-1954), also great-grandparents, Joseph Brown Thomas (1861-1927)and Sally Scarbough Thomas (1851-1902),and great-great grandparents,George Washington Thomas (1819-1907) and Mary Jane Rye Thomas (1822-1894)all of whom are buried in Mt Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, as well as Baggett cousins, Frances Baggett Coleman, Gurshen, Johnny, & Deborah Baggett Scarborough.

Services for Jack Ray Baggett, Sr., age 60 of Rentz, will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 29, 2013 at Baker Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Baptist
Church Cemetery. Rev. Joey Diers and Jeff Hanley will officiate. He passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2013.
Mr. Baggett was a member of Baker Baptist Church and
the Senior Adult Sunday school class. He was a volunteer
fireman with the Rentz Fire Department for over 25 years. Mr. Baggett was employed with MCC Industrial Contractors. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Rufus and Mary Frances Fountain Baggett; son, Dan Kirkley and a brother, Hugh Baggett.
