Blanco, Anthony

Anthony Blanco 1984- 2008 Anthony Blanco was born August 7, 1984 at Memorial Hospital in Bakersfield, CA. Anthony was the youngest of 4 kids. He was born as a premature baby and against all odds he survived. He was a miracle baby. "Carpe Diem" was his display message on his phone. Anthony did just that, he seized every day like it was his last. Everyone would say he was an extraordinary guy and he touched every person's heart that he met. If you met Anthony you were better for it. Anthony was such a character. He knew how to be serious at times and he also knew when to joke around. He always found time to be with his friends. He could be very immature at time but that's just because he was still a child inside a young man's body. Anthony Blanco was called home on December 22, 2008. Funeral services will be at Sacred Heart Church, 9915 Ramos Avenue, Bakersfield, CA. The viewing will be on Monday, December 29,2008 from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. with the rosary starting at 7:00 p.m.. The mass will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. with the burial to follow HillCrest Cemetery, 9101 Kern Canyon Road. He is survived by his parents, Carlos Sr. and Adela, his brothers, Carlos Jr. and Gena Blanco, Joey and Veronica Blanco, and sister Sandy Blanco and Moises Gama (fiancé). His 3 nephews, Matthew Blanco, Dominic Blanco, and Joey Blanco Jr., his 2 nieces Justine Blanco and Joslyn Blanco, grandparents Alberto and Tomasita Deval, and too many aunt, uncles, cousins and friends to name.
