Born May 30, 1920, in Macon, Georgia, daughter of the late Dudley and Leavy Reed Brown Sr., she lived in Missouri for more than 65 years and was a member of Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Lilbourn.
On Nov. 15, 1938, she married George E. Anderson who preceded her in death.
Survivors include: two sons, Eugene Anderson and Richard "Buck" Anderson; two daughters, Rosie Scales and Racheal Givens; one brother, Tommie Brown; one sister, Elva Boom; 30 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Osie Lee Anderson; and four brothers and six sisters.
Visitation was held until service time at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Ernest Willis, pastor, officiated.
Burial followed in Simmons Park Cemetery at Catron.
Williams-Farr and Purnell Funeral Home of Howardville was in charge of arrangements.
