Survived by two daughters, Myrtis Edwards and Willie Mae Parent, both of Baton Rouge; three sisters, Zella Hancock, Monroe, Alma Sandifer, Winnfield, and Gladys Lowery, Joyce; a brother, Edward Gates, Monroe; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Preceded in death by husband, H.S. Boles.
She was a member of East Winnfield Baptist Church.
