Phyllis A. (Goss) Boggess, 78, a Coraopolis resident since 1950, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 23 [2002], at her home. She was born in Lewistown, Pa., on June 28, 1924, to the late Anthony and Claire (Aurnd) Goss. Mrs. Boggess was a member of the Assembly of God, and a homemaker. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Wilbur R. Boggess; her two children, Charles G. Boggess of Auburn, NY, and Claire A. Tarquinio and her husband David of Center. She was preceded in death by four siblings, Kenneth V., Ray, Helen Irene and Marvin Goss. Funeral arrangements were coordinated by Copeland's Coraopolis, 867 Fifth Avenue, where a service was held with Rev. Wayne Jackson officiating, prior to burial at Coraopolis Cemetery.
