MRS MARY ZIEGENBEIN

Mary, dau. of John and Anna Andrick, was born in Black Hawk, Iowa, Jan. 31, 1871. She came with her mother to Kansas in 1877, and settled on a farm near Avoca, Jackson Co. On Feb. 7, 1894, she was married to Geo. Ziegenbein. To this union one child was born, Maggie, who lives at home.
In early life she united with the Methodist Episcopal church and remained a member until her death. She died at Avoca, Nov. 8, 1924, aged 53 yrs, 10 mos. and 8 days. She leaves to mourn her departure, her husband, one dau., one brother, Fred of Clovis, New Mexico; and one sister, Mrs. Anna Trezise of Raymond, WA, who was with her at the time of her death. She was a loving wife and mother, a good and kind neighbor who will be greatly missed in the home and community.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at Bucks Grove, conducted by Rev. T.E. Johnston, of Powhattan. Burial in Bucks Grove cemetery.
