1921: Central City, Nebraska newspaper dated 18 August 1921 shows; The home of Mr. and Mrs. Freeman Larson was saddened Thursday by the death of their only child, Max Leroy, aged ten months and sixteen days. Funeral services were held from the home on Friday, with Rev. Dagner and Rev. Turnquist officiating. A quartet from the Lutheran church sang two selections, "Fade, Fade each Earthly Joy." and "In the Sweet Bye and Bye." The little body was laid to rest in the Friedhem cemetery. A host of friends extend deepest sympathy to the young parents in their first great sorrow.
