Mrs. W J Mixon Dies at 81
Mrs. Cicely Agnes Rebecca Larkin Mixon, widow of the late W J Mixon of Houston died at 11 am Saturday, Dec 13 at the Houston Hospital. She was 81.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Dec 14, at 2 pm from the Houston Funeral Home Chapel with Father Bob Hare officiating. Interment was in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Rosary was at 7:30 pm Saturday night.
Pallbearers were Billy Blue, Sterling Allen, Charlie Tillman, Danny Frank Weaver, Raymond Davis and James Waldrop.
Mrs. Mixon was a native of Chickasaw County. She was born March 11 1894. She was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.
She is survived by two sons, Bertie J Mixon of Houston, and Tommy L Mixon of Houston, Tx.; two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Stafford of Philadelphia, Pa., and Mrs. Pauline Drane of Sturgis, Miss.; two sisters, Miss Daisy Larkin of Woodland and Mrs. Lizzie Mixon of Greenwood, Miss. Four grandchildren also survive.
