Mr. Garber died Saturday, Aug. 20, in a Pueblo hospital where he had been a patient for a week. Mr. Garber had made his home with a daughter, Mrs. O.M. (Florence) Hunt, 1121 Grace Ave., for the past four years.
He was born in Garden City, Mo., Jan 13, 1882 and came to Colorado with his parents in 1919, settling in the East Holbrook area. Since that time, Mr. Garber had made his home in the Swink and La Junta areas.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Hunt and Mrs. Millard (Anna) Holland of La Junta; a son, Roy Garber, Brawley, Calif. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lulu, Nov. 30, 1940 and by two sons, Clarence in 1962 and Earl in 1920.
