Hough, -- Susanna Amelia, daughter of Joseph and Cathariana (Naffzinger) Garber, was born in 1868 near Secor, Ill.; quietly passed away March 29, 1955; aged 87 y. 13 d. She leaves to mourn her departure 3 daughters (Viola Hough, Colorado Springs; Edith Baylor, Miami, Fla.; and Alma Hartzler, Goshen.).

Two sons preceded her in death (Arthur M. and Orion L.). Also surviving are 4 grandchildren, one brother (H. R. Garber, La Junta, Colo.), a sister (Lula Sanderson, Portland, Oreg.), 12 great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends. At her request the funeral services held at the Swan Funeral Home in Colorado Springs on April 1 were in charge of Allen H. Erb, who at her request read Rev. 21 and used Rev. 21: 4 as a test. Jess Kauffman assisted in the service. A service was also held at Goshen, Ind., on March 29 with Ray Keim and S. C. Yoder in charge. Burial was made in the Evergreen Cemetery near Colorado Springs.
