Cumberland,Maryland ---- Clara N. Frost, 98, of Devlin Manor Nursing Home, formerly of Edgevale Ave., Kentuky Ave., and Mary St., died Wednesday, Oct. 27, 1999, at the nursing home.

Born Dec. 13, 1900, in Cumberland, she was the daughter, of the late Daniel T. and Maude Anna (Fisher) Kitzmiller. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Howard A. Frost; and two sisters, Glennie M. Snyder, and Maude L. Davis.

Mrs. Frost was a former employee of Umstot Market, Virginia Ave., and Union Laundry. She was a member of Emmanuel/Bethel United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, the Mezpah Sunday School Class, the Mapleside Homemakers, and the Royal Neighbors of America Lodge.

Surviving are two sons, H. Edward Frost and wife, Barbara, and Gary W. Frost and wife, Bonnie, both of Cumberland; six grandchildren, Kevin W. Frost and wife, Amy, Cumberland, Karen L. Rice and husband, Robert, Manassas, Kelley J. Syruws and husband, Timothy, Greensboro, N.C., Keith E. "Buc" Frost and wife, Tammy, Cumberland, Jennifer L. Johnson, Cumberland; and Edward E. Frost, Cumberland; six great-grandchildren, Jason, Jessica, Dylan, Joshua, Jacob, and Jeannine; and six step-great-grandchildren, Nicole, Ashley, Shane, Brandy, Tiffany, and Brent.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., on Friday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Millie Martin, officiating.

Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Cumberland.
