Maurice B. Hamilton, age 80, of Decatur, GA, (formerly of Bethesda Community, Gwinnett County), passed away on June 21, 2006. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Lola Hamilton; brother, Milton Hamilton and Sister Marguerite Brooks. He is survived by wife, Jane Hamilton; sister, Meriam Carson, Lawrenceville; nephews: Howard Brooks, Las Vegas, NV; Brian Carson, Lawrenceville; Clay Carson, Winston Salem, NC; great niece and several great nephews. Mr. Hamilton served during WWII in the U.S. Marine Corp. and was employed for 36 years with Railway Express, 12 years with TSC Express and attended Rehoboth Presbyterian Church where he tended the rose garden. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 23, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at Rehoboth Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Joel Tolbert and Rev. Don Wade, officiating. Interment to follow at Bethesda Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Tom M.
