Born at Beacon, St. Agnes, Cornwall, son of Wm. H. & Eliza Jane (Hockey) Murrish. Came to Montana in 1888. He married the widow Susan Johns Valler about 1893. To them, subsequently, were born a son, Everett C., and a daughter, Ethel. He worked in mines in Montana and Utah before moving to San Gabriel and then Sierra Madre where he died in 1936.
