Rosemary graduated from Traverse City Central High School and on January 22, 1944, she married Leroy M. Schneider in St. Mary's Church of Hannah.
Rosemary and Leroy operated the Eastfield Thriftway Market in Traverse City from 1964 to 1974, retiring until 1980, when they purchased the Copemish Family Market, in Copemish, and moved to the Thompsonville area. In 1992 they purchased the Honor Family Market in Honor.
Rosemary was a successful business woman and enjoyed 35 years of working side by side with her husband and children. She retired in 2001. She will be remembered as a kind woman with a keen wit and sense of humor along with her generosity to her children and grandchildren.
Rosemary was survived by: her husband of 62 years, Leroy M Schneider of Thompsonville; her children, Thomas L. and Linda Schneider of Indiana, Marilyn A. and Robert Edginton of Traverse City, Dale J. and Kathleen Schneider of Benzonia, Helen M. Schneider of Interlochen, Timothy M. and Patricia Schneider of Cadillac and Patrick J. and Lorri Schneider of Thompsonville; twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was also survived by: her brothers, Jack and Virginia Franke, and James and Patricia Franke, and her sisters, Elizabeth Pavlovic, Joanne and Harry Grennay; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Edith and Alfred Franke; and her brothers, William Franke and Robert Franke.
