Mrs. Mary Belle Chisum
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Belle Chisum, 84, were held on Wednesday, June 15, at Bethany Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Lucas and Rev. J.M. Fuqua officiating.
Mrs. Chisum, member of a widely-known Covington County family, died in a local hospital on Tuesday, June 14. She was resident of 116 Jones drive.
Burial was in Bethany Cemetery with Foreman's in charge.
Survivors include her husband, E.H. Chisum,Andalusia, three sons, Dan Chisum and J.S. Chisum, of RFD 6, Andalusia; and W.L Chisum, of RFD 2, Andalusia; one daughter, Mrs. Ila Davis, of Andalusia; three brothers, J.T. Moore, and Roy Moore, both of RFD 6, Andalusia, and Tox Moore, of Williston, Fl; a sister, Mrs. Eula Barton, of Mobile, twelve grandchildren and twenty-six great grandchildren.
