Courtesy of MH: Jozef Havelka was a retired farmer and lived in the Jarrell/New Corn Hill area his entire life. He was born at New Corn Hill (formerly Behrenville) on 15 May 1884 to Fabian & Katerina Pospisil Havelka and had four brothers (George, Frank, Fabian, & Louis) and four sisters (Mary Havelka Jeschke, Amalia Havelka Pavlasek, Frances Havelka Polasek, & Christine Havelka Machicek). He married Anna Blazek on 24 Nov 1904 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, New Corn Hill, Tx. They had four children: Joseph L. Havelka (of New Corn Hill), Angelina Havelka Valenta (of Granger), Edmund E. Havelka (of Austin), and Mary Havelka Valenta (of Schwertner). He entered in eternal rest 14 Feb. 1967.
