Mrs. Amalie Pavlasek, 82, of O'Neal Road, died early this morning in a local hospital. She had been ill two years.

Mrs. Pavlasek, a native of Fayette County, moved here in 1913 and lived on farms in the London and Kostoryz communities.

She was an honorary member of the K.J.Z.T. and a member of the Altar Society of SS. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church.

Survivors are three sons, John F. Stojanik of Robstown, Leo and Raymond Stojanik of Corpus Christi [John and Leo are Pavlasek]; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Pospech, Mrs. Marcella Krnavek and Mrs. Alice Simcik of Corpus Christi; two brothers, Joe Havelka of Jerald, Texas, and Louis Havelka of Bartlett, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Christine Machlicek of Gonzales; 23 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Rosary will be recited today and tomorrow at Maxwell Dunne Funeral Chapel. Requiem funeral mass will be Saturday at Christ the King Catholic Church with the Rev. Patrick Higgins as celebrant. Burial will be in Seaside Memorial Park. Grandsons will be pallbearers.
