Missing sons:
William and Henry Laughlin: I have not found any records William Laughlin after the 1860 US census in South Fork, Delaware, Iowa. His brother Henry is on the 1870 US census in South Fork, Delaware, Iowa. Both sons were too young to have fought in the Civil War. What happened to them?
Someone noted that there are two small stone near their father's big grave stone that are "broken". The transcriptions I have found for the Delhi, Iowa cemetery do not record any Laughlin names being buried with Arthur.
