MYERS
Clarence Albert Myers passed away September 4 at the Onaga Hospital. He was born July 15, 1907 at Trowsdale, Oklahoma, the son of Charles and Rachel Albin Myers.
On June 30, 1942, he was united in marriage to Maxine Conger at Holton. To this union were born two sons, Leonard and Ronald.
Clarence was a farmer in the Soldier and Delia Communities, during his lifetime. He enjoyed most of all breaking and working with teams of horses.
He is survived by his wife, Maxine, of the home. Two sons, Leonard and wife, Pat, of Circleville, Ronald and wife, Terry, of Delia, two granddaughters and four grandsons.
Other survivors are four sisters, his twin sister, Clara Owings, Soldier, Ellen wood, Olathe, Agnes Hedrick, Bridgeton, Missouri, Mae Stanbarger, Holton; six brothers, Carl of Circleville, Ralph, Soldier, Robert of Bagles, Minnesota, Richard, Severy, Donald, Heyburn, Idaho, Charles Jr., Pleasant Hill, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Dolly Edna, age 6 years, one brother, Arthur Maxwell, and infant.
Memorial services were held Friday, September 7, at 1:30 p.m. at Mercer Funeral Home. Rev. Gene Lakin of Circleville conducted the services. Music was furnished by Mrs. Ed Haag accompanied by Mrs. Dean Stous, organist.
Pallbearers were Max Kehler, Milton Daugherty, Charles Kennedy, Robert Kennedy, Clinton Harris and Arch Cowger. Flower girls were Hazel Kennedy, Mable Harris and Irene Cowger. Interment was in the Bucks Grove Cemetery.
