Esther Lorain James
Esther Lorian James, 77, of Waynesboro, died on Aug. 24, 2006 at Wayne General Hospital.
She was widowed and a machine operator.
She is survived by two sons, Lavele James and Hubert James, both of Waynesboro; a daughter, Katie Speed of Waynesboro; a brother, Albert Ray Pitts of Waynesboro; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest James, and a son, Charles (Butch) James.
Funeral services were held on Aug. 27, 2006 at Freeman Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Sidney Hill officiating. Interment followed at the Jones-Hill Cemetery.
Freeman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
