Georgina her brothers William John (1846-1864) & Richard James (1844-1914) were the only Feltus in NZ and none of them married.
Their parents were George Feltus (1805-1847), of the 58th Regiment & Frances 'Fanny' Thornhill (1816-1869) from Ireland. George & Fanny married in Scotland in 1840 and sailed to Auckland with the NZ Fencibles, on the CLIFTON with 3 year old son Richard James (1844-1914) & 1 year old William John Feltus (1846-1864). In the First Fleet of Auckland the statement is made that "The Clifton was almost a plague-ship. Influenza persisted for the whole of the voyage especially afflicting the children. There were 46 deaths, mainly of children."
Most passengers were from Southern Ireland and suffering the effects of influenza and hunger.

Their mother Fanny next married Thomas Weaving (1812-1879) in 1849 and had a daughter, Amelia Frances Weaving (1853-1936). So Georgina & Amelia were half sisters . Amelia married Thomas Moore (1849-1888) in 1872. The Sergeant (G.V.T.) George Vivian Thomas Moore on the headstone (as a memorial only) was their son. On enlistment his address was Woodville.
