WILL of EDWARD WEST ~~~~ April 2, 1842
Children: Thomas, Richard, Samuel, West dec'd. heirs, Edmund Humphreys, Ann Clark, Mark, Elizabeth Looney, Jentsey [Robert's middle name?], and Joseph West. All real and personal estate to be divided among the above named. I have heretofore emancipated several slaves. Now my colored man, Airy, is to get: a horse, $50 cash, plow, hoe, straw beds in kitchen, five acre entry on the ridge adjoining Joseph West and James Jones. Purchase land for freed slaves in state of Ohio.
