Mrs. Jonnie Montgomery, 49 years old of, 3004 Blair Avenue, Fort Smith, Arkansas, was dead on arrival at a local hospital Monday, January 30, 1967. She was born October 20, 1917 in Crawford county and had lived in Van Buren up until ten years ago when she moved to Fort Smith. She was a member of the First Free Will Bapatist church.

Survivors are her husband, George Montgomery (now deceased 10/22/1967); her mother, Maggie Ray of Van Buren; three brothers. W.C. of Lemoore, California, W.P. of Wilcox, Arizona and Howard of San Antonio, Texas; three sisters, Mrs Matthews of Van Buren; Dorothy and Peggy both of Fort Smith.

Funeral service was held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the First Free Will Baptist church with Rupert Pixley, the officiating minister. Burial was in Gill cemetery under the direction of Fentress Mortuary.
