As near as I can tell Jistena’s (the way it is spelled on the certificate) father looks to be John Cargt (not sure of the spelling of the last name. Could be Caryt. Her mother’s name was Rosena Gray (at least it looks like Gray). Her date of death is 31 Dec. 1918. It looks like she was born in Allegheny, PA on 27 March 1850. Her father and mother were both born in Germany. The death certificate was attested to by a Mrs. Elma Haag, of New Springfield, Ohio, place of burial Petersburg, on January 2. She was 68 yrs 9 mos 5 days... (From Karen Casedy.)
