"Robert A. Moherman, aged 91years, oldest resident of Jackson township, died Sunday morning following a stroke of paralysis two days previous on the farm one mile west of North Jackson, where he was born April 25, 1848, to Mr. and Mrs. John Moherman, and spent his entire long and useful life. He was active on the 200-acre farm until recently. He was the last of a family of four. When a babe in arms his mother took him to the Canfield fair and every succeeding year he was there, the last one greatly pleasing him, doubtless appreciating that his son Fred, a member of the board of managers for quite a number of years, had much to do with the big show and success of the fair. On Feb. 22, 1877, he married Miss Katherine Wanamaker. She passed away in December 1927. Besides his son Fred he leaves a daughter, Mrs. Isaac M. Hogg, North Jackson. Funeral services in charge of Rev. J. D. Wyker were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, followed by burial in the local cemetery."
