Western, Esther Blossom passed away Dec. 9, 2008. She was born in Bisbee, AZ Nov. 6, 1922 to James and Johannah Aiken. After her mothers passing she helped her father with the younger ones. Esther was very family oriented. Her house was the family gathering place for reminiscing old times and generating new memories for the future. She married Delroy Western. Together they built Western School of Horseshoeing which was world renound. She is survived by son Terry Western, grandson Dallen Western, sisters Bonnie Lowell (Virgil), Mary Jo Albin and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday, Dec. 18, 2008 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Funeral service 11:00 AM Friday Dec 19, 2008 at Hansen Chapel, 8314 N. 7th St. with Graveside 12:30 PM at National Veteran's Cemetery. Published in The Arizona Republic on 12/17/2008
