Lowell, Bonnie Elizabeth (Aiken)
83, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away Sunday July 30, 2017 in her Phoenix home. She was born November 28, 1933 in Lead, South Dakota to James and Emma Aiken. Bonnie was a devoted wife to Virgil Lowell Jr. for 58 years and a loving mother to her four children: Virgil Thomas (deceased), Laurie Sue (husband David Thomas Kashmark II), Bonnie Lynne (deceased), and Jamie Johanna (husband Bryan Whitlock). She was the best grandmother to her seven grandchildren: Steven, Andrew and Brandon Kashmark; Danica and Dakota Aiken; Bryttanie (Whitlock) Schultz and Brady Whitlock; and her four great-grandchildren: Maddison Aiken, Brylynn and Brooklynn Whitlock and Kendal Schultz. Bonnie was a wonderful sister to her only remaining sibling Mary Jo Albin of Farmington, NM. She had many jobs throughout her life and was a very talented lady, a great artist and a talented seamstress; there was nothing she couldn't do. Once she started having children, she was a stay-at-home mom, and even the neighborhood kids wanted to be at her house. She always had the best stories and the best snacks and never turned anyone away. When her last baby went to high school, Bonnie went back to work at Western School of Horse Shoeing until it closed its doors. She was a caregiver to all family and anyone else who needed a loving hand. Bonnie got the gift of gab from her dad who was from Ireland; she enjoyed talking to everyone. Bonnie was larger than life, and she will be missed by all that knew her. We all love you and hope you rest in peace, Momma. Visitation is from 5:00-7:00 PM Friday August 11, 2017 at Hansen Chapel, 8314 N. 7th Street, Phoenix AZ 85020. Funeral service is at 11:00 AM Saturday August 12, 2017 at Hansen Chapel. Burial is at 10:30 AM Monday August 14, 2017 at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek, Phoenix 85024.
