WEIR - Nickey McDaniel, 49, heavy-equipment operator, died of cancer Tuesday at Oktibbeha County Hospital in Starkville.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Weir Baptist Church with burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Nowell Funeral Home in Ackerman has charge.
He leaves a daughter, Leigh Ann Davis of Hixson, Tenn., a son, Todd McDaniel, and his mother, Mary Alice McDaniel, both of Weir; two sisters, Glenda O'Bryant of Ackerman and Yvonne Stevens of French Camp; three brothers, Donnie McDaniel of Houston, Texas, Rainey McDaniel of Brandon and Larry McDaniel of Weir, and two grandchildren.
