Lois (Payne) Hegarty, 67, of Orem, UT., died Wednesday, Nov. 19, 1992, at her home following a lingering illness.
She was born Nov. 7, 1924 in Marion, KS., to Harrison and Violet (Philips) Payne. She married Joseph Verle Hegarty Sep. 1, 1943 in American Fork, UT. Four children were born to them.
She enjoyed quilting, cooking and helping others.
She is survived by her husband, Verle; one son, Harry Emmett of Bellingham, WA; three daughters, Lynda Orchard of Orem; Frances Paxton of Salt Lake City, Vicky Eslick of Henryetta, OK; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; one brother, Duane of Baker, Ore.
Graveside services for family will be held 2pm Monday in the Orem City Cemetery.
