Andy was the son of Alexzander & Lucinda Beshears Johnson. He married Jennie Bell George 10 Jan, 1916 in Dekalb Co., TN.. He married second Ovie Jo Johnson.

Andy A. Johnson....Funeral services for Mr. Andy A. Johnson, 76, Manchester Rd., who died Nov. 21 at Rutherford Hospital after an extended illness, will be held 2 p.m. Nov. 23, Jennings & Ayres Chapel with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. The Rev. Archie King will officiate. His parents were Alexzander & Lucinda Beshears Johnson. He is survived by his wife Ovie Jo (Johnson) of Murfreesboro; eight sons, Houston, Amon, Glasco, William, Johnnie, Sky, Judge, all of Murfreesboro; 11 daughters, Mrs. Lucille Hale Nashville, Mrs. Jean Shipp, Mrs. Fairy Compton, Mrs. May Johnson, Mrs. Elaine Tyree, Miss Penny Johnson, Miss Tina Johnson, all of Murfreesboro, Mrs. Mabel Stanley of Woodbury; two brothers, H. Johnson of Buchannan community, William Johnson of Nashville and sister Mrs. Lonnie Bain of Woodbury. A member of the Baptist Church, a WWI veteran, he was a native of Dekalb County.
