Graveside service for Bessie Lou Kent Looney, 83, of Hartselle will be Monday, Dec. 15, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery with Roselawn Funeral Home directing.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Looney, who died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2008, at her residence, was born June 2, 1925, in Morgan County to Elbert and Lula McDaniel Kent. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Cassie Smith.
Survivors include two daughters, Renee Shuemake (Johnny) of Hartselle and Austine Brown (Don) of Somerville; son, William "Bo" Tunstill (Ellen) of Jasper; eight grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
