ELBERT J. KENT DIES IN HARTSELLE
Funeral services for Elbert Jackson Kent, 69, who passed away this morning at his home in Hartselle, will be held Thursday at three P.M. at the First Christian church of Hartselle with Rev. Havener, assisted by Rev. Frank T. Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethel cemetery, Mutual Service directing.
The deceased is survived by his wife; two sons, William H. Kent of Hartselle and Egbert Kent of Colorado; three daughters, Mrs. Roxy Guthrie of Ensley, Mrs. Lois Baucom of Colorado and Miss Bessie Kent of Hartselle; eight grandchildren; one brother, B. H. Kent, one sister, Mrs. Cora Bowman of Pell City, and a number of other relatives.
