Alice Elizabeth Eardley Obray was born March 17, 1889 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Bedson Eardley and Mary Ann Holding. She married Samuel Earl Obray on June 19, 1912 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He died in 1947. Alice was a member of the LDS Church, belonging to the Parley's Fifth Ward and Jefferson Ward. Alice was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and was loved by all who knew her.
Alice passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 1977 at the home of her daughter in East Millcreek, Utah. She was 88. She resided at 2165 South King Street (2430 East) in the Foothill neighborhood of Salt Lake City, Utah at the time of her death. Before moving to the Foothill neighborhood, she resided at 1554 South State Street (100 East) in the Central City neighborhood of Salt Lake City, Utah.
Funeral Services were held on Saturday, April 2, 1977 at 11:30 AM at Deseret Mortuary located at 36 East 700 South in Salt Lake City, Utah. A viewing was held on Friday evening from 6:30 until 8:30 PM and on Saturday one hour prior to the services.
Alice was laid to rest following the conclusion of the Funeral Services at the Salt Lake City Cemetery in The Avenues neighborhood of Salt Lake City, Utah.
