Paul E. Kendrick, age 83, of Russellville died Sunday, July 9, 2000 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. He was born June 13, 1917, in Pope County. He was retired employee of the Purex Corporation in Southgate, California. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church. He is survived by his wife, Louise West Kendrick; two sons, Charles Kendrick of Ola and James Kendrick of Appleton, Minnesota; one daughter, Paula Johnson of Russellville and a special adopted daughter, Linda Rankin of Russellville; a brother, Dean Kendrick of Hartshorne, Oklahoma; two sisters, Othel Ingram of Russellville and Faye Ford of Willows, California; nine grandchildren, Jim and Roy Hocker and Janet Taylor, all of Cypress, California, Robert, Tina and Paul Kendrick, all of Bellflower, California, James Kendrick of Las Vegas, Nevada, Karen Murphy of Russellville and Sarah Morton of Van Buren; eight great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 10 A.M., Thursday at First Assembly of God with Rev. Larry Moore and Rev. Gary Brown officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park by Shinn Funeral Service.

Active pallbearers will be Gene Rankin, Barry Morton, Danny Ketcherside, Charles R. Morphis, Joe Copeland and Parks Martin.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Sanctuary Sunday School Class of First Assembly.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 P.M., Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
