OBITUARY: Deseret Evening News, Monday evening, October 6, 1883, page 3:
In Death Not Divided: The funeral of Mother Woodbury, whose death was chronicled in Saturday's issue of this paper, was postponed from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to-day in consequence of the demise of her husband, Father Jeremiah Woodbury, who died during Sunday night. They were both old settlers of the Valley, and were highly respected wherever known. Father Woodbury was born March 9th 1791, in the State of Massachusetts. It is worthy of note that the old family Bible records the fact that the deceased were married June 30, 1813, and consequently had lived in the wedded state for a period of three score and ten years. A very unusual occurance. [This is a mistake - Charlotte Frost Woodbury was his 2nd wife, his 1st wife having died in 1851. He and Charlotte were married in 1852.] The funeral services over the remains of the worthy and ____ couple took place in the Seventh Ward Meeting House.

UTAH PIONEER: Members of the Abraham O. Smoot - George B. Wallace Company, which arrived in the Salt Lake Valley 25, 26, 29 September 1847.

Sunday School Superintendent, Patriarch.

He was my 3rd great grandfather.
