Ella, my grand aunt, is the daughter of Charles F Wright and Elizabeth Hicks. Ella married Charles Levert Brown on 24 Jan 1891 in Gainesville, Cooke Co, TX. She died in childbirth, but her son Cecil Wright Brown lived and was raised by his Wright grandparents until age 16 when he was killed by an accidental gunshot.

Mrs. Ella Brown, wife of Charles L. Brown and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Wright, died yesterday morning at 6 o'clock at the home of her parents in East Gainesville. She leaves an infant son.
Mrs. Brown was loved by a large circle of friends who mourn her death exceedingly. She was a true christian and a great worker in the beloved cause of her Savior.
The funeral will take place this morning from the Broadway church conducted by Revs. Sexton and Vinson.
