Charles B. Thompson, 346 N. Fourth Street, died at 7 o'clock last night at his home, after an illness of one week due to complications and pneumonia. He was 72 years of age. He was a member of Salem United Brethren Church and Sunday School, and fraternally of the Odd Fellows and the Junior Mechanics. He was a retired coal miner. Survivors are his wife, Amanda, nee Bordner; two daughters, Mrs. Bessie Mease, at home; Mrs. Sadie Kohr, of Johnstown, Pa; one son, Robert, of Minersville; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Lizzie Brown, of Lebanon.
