Peter Bardonner was Laid to Rest Today. Peter Bardonner died at 2:30 o'clock on the morning of July 4, 1899, of what the physicians pronounced stomach trouble. During the past winter he was confined to his room with sickness, being unable to get out for several months but as warm weather approached, he improved enough to be able to be about town until within the past two weeks. Recently his stomach has been rebelling against all nourishment and medicines, and the gradual weakness and suffering ended in his death as above announced. He was 66 years, 6 months, and 10 days old. He leaves a wife and two brothers, Henry and John, the latter living in White County. Funeral services were conducted from the house this morning at 9 oclock. whence they go to the German Luthern church at Arcadia. Internemnt at Arcadia.
