MARGUERITE "MARGE" (SCHAAF) DAHMAN, 94, of Fort Wayne, died on Monday, March 14, 2011, at Sacred Heart Home, Avilla. Born in Woodburn, she was the daughter of the late George and Magdalina Schaaf. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne. She was a homemaker and dedicated caregiver, who enjoyed gardening, reading and sewing. Early in her career, she worked for General Electric and later retired from the Public Service Employees. She was married to Eugene Dahman for almost 50 years, before he went to be with the Lord in 1986. She is respected and lovingly remembered by her daughter, Sally Waters of Auburn; grandchildren, Lorri (Jerry) Haber, Jon (Sheri) Waters and Jill Skaggs; three great-grandchildren; and brother, George Schaaf. She was also preceded in death by her son, Thomas J. Dahman; son-in-law, Steve Waters; and brothers, Glen and Al Schaaf. Funeral service is 10 a.m. Thursday at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 202 W. Rudisill Blvd., Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Pastor David Petersen officiating. Calling also from 2 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Burial in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
