SALLY J. WATERS, 70, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2014, at Lutheran Hospital,
Fort Wayne.
Born in Fort Wayne, Sally graduated from Elmhurst High School in 1962. Later she
worked at Lincoln Life for over 30 years, retiring in 2004. She was a member of
Trinity Lutheran Church in Auburn. Sally had a special love for her grandkids and
enjoyed bowling, reading, and traveling.
Surviving are her daughter, Lorri (Jerry) Haber of Auburn; son, Jon (Sheri) Waters
of Auburn; daughter, Jill Waters-Skaggs of Auburn; grandchildren, Cayden Skaggs and
Katie and Steven Waters; and sister-in-law, Jackie (John) Nicholls of South
Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Steven C. Waters; parents, Eugene J. and
Marguerite Dahman; and brother, Thomas Dahman.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014, at Trinity Lutheran Church,
Auburn, 1801 N. Main St., with calling one hour prior. The Rev. Jonathan Nack
officiating. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, 2014, at D.O.
McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 E. Dupont Road. Burial in Woodlawn
