Thomas E. Furnish, 50, 330 State St., died at 3 a.m. yesterday at King's Daughters' Hospital.
He was a native of Osgood and was employed at Jefferson Proving Ground. He was a member of Union Lodge No. 2 F&AM.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Cox Furnish; five sons: Thomas E. Jr., David A., Timothy B., Steven M., and Christopher C. Furnish, all of Madison; and one daughter, Miss Carolyn A. Furnish, Madison. He was preceded in death by one infant daughter and his parents.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Gans Funeral Home with burial in the St. Joseph.
