Mr. Garrard was born at Lexington but had lived most of his lifetime at Valley Hill where he was a farmer. He had been an invalid the past 15 years. He was a member of the Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Wilm Alma Garrard and the following children: Sam Garrard, Charles H. Garrard, Levi Garrard, Jr., Sidon; W. G. Garrard, Mrs. Rogers, Jackson, Miss Edna Garrard, Miss Pauline Garrard, Greenwood; Mrs. Frank K. Ballard. Shaw; two brothers, C. M. Garrard, Carrollton; S. G. Garrard, Holcomb; a sister, Mrs. Mallie Tingle, Isola.
