ESTA ARNOLD ADKINS, 87, of West Hamlin, WV, our loving Mother went to be with Jesus on March 29, 2000, at her residence. She was born on March 6, 1913, at Parsner, WV. She was the daughter of the late Will and Letha Arnold. She was a member of the Lincoln Church of God at West Hamlin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oley Adkins, one daughter, Dollie Elkins, two sons, Bobbie and Vernon Adkins. Survivors include four daughters and sons-in-law, Cassie Wolfe of Columbus OH, Letha and Chuck ByBee of Pataskala OH, Dottie and Bud Ingersoll of Wooster OH and Marcella Nelson of West Hamlin. Three sons and daughters-in-law, Elijah and June Adkins of Hamlin WV, Wandell and Sue Adkins of Michigan, Leo and Shirley Adkins of Wooster OH. 34 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren and a host of friends.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 31, 2000 at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin, with Lonnie Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in the Arnold Cemetery, Ranger WV. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Donations may be made to the Hospice in Lincoln County.
