Leo Raymond Adkins, 76, Wooster, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2013, at his home.

The Midkiff, WV., native was born July 18, 1937, the son of the late Oley and Esta Arnold Adkins.

He attended Guyan Valley Schools, retired from PCA (Packing Corporation of America), as a back tinder, and was a member of Mount Zion Church of God, Wooster.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Bobby, Vernon and Elijah Adkins,and a sister, Dolly Elkins.

He was the husband of Shirley Mae Noel Adkins of Wooster.

Surviving in addition to his wife, are a daughter, Carolyn "Yvonne" Warner and her husband, Jeff of Wooster, grandsons, Joey and Ryan of Wooster, a brother, Wandell Adkins of Waterford, Mich., sisters, Cassie Wolfe of Columbus, Leatha Bybee of Pataskala, Marcella Nelson of West Hamlin, WV., and Dottie Ingersoll of Wooster, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Phillips Funeral Home, Ironton, with pastor Curtis Elkins officiating. Burial will be in Slabfork Cemetery.
