Zebulon - Lloyd Julius Carroll, 74, of 161 Davis Road, died suddenly at his home in Johnston County on Wednesday, November 22, 1995. Mr. Carroll had retired as a Prison Guard, with the North Carolina Prison Systems.
Funeral 11 a.m. Saturday, November 25, 2995, Corinth Baptist Church, Hwy 96 South of Zebulon. Burial, church cemetery.
Surviving: sons, Carl Lloyd Carroll and his wife, Bobbie Carroll of Zebulon, Stan Carroll and his wife, Ann Carroll of Knightdale, Randy Carroll and his wife, Terri Carroll of Raleigh; daughter, Jan Carroll Frazier and her husband, Doug Frazier of Wake Forest; sisters, Christine C. Hocutt of Wendell, Clentis C. Strickland of Zebulon; special friend, Emma Maiden of Zebulon; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren.
Mr. Carroll was preceded in death b his wife, Irene Wilder Carroll, February 2, 1988.
