Our dear mother, Fern Fink Chase, 81, of Kingsport went to Heaven Tuesday, November 11, 2008, to be with her Lord and her husband, Leonard, who was the love of her life.

She was a member of Rock Springs United Methodist Church and had a love for baking cakes or any kind of sweets. She was always the mother that knew what her family needed and tried to be the best mother ever. Fern will be dearly missed by all who knew her and - especially her family.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Leonard Chase; her dad, Herbert Fink; her mother, Lillie Fink; and two brothers, J. D. Fink and Marvin Fink.

Surviving are one son, C. L. Chase; one daughter, Pamela Greer and husband Bill; two sisters, Lillian Chase, Dora Hale and husband Martin; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, David, Angie, Indiana and Olivia Calloway, all of Kingsport.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. Joseph W. Manis officiating.
