Arriving Ellis Island, Port of New York, N.Y., 20/23 Jan 1906. Josef from Chicago is mentioned on Charles passenger list as his brother, who is suppose to meet him. Before leaving New York for Chicago, ILL his daughter, Julia said they first stopped to see the roller coaster at Coney Island then they went onto Chicago to his brother’s house.
Charles left Chicago for Portland, Oregon about 1907 or 1908. Charles is on Portland’s voting registration records for the years 1908, 1909, 1910.
