Funeral services for George Mitchell Harris, 35, were held Feb. 7 at 11 a.m., at Fails Funeral Chapel.
He was a native and resident of Lucedale, and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. He was employed at Ingalls Shipbuilding Corp., and a member of the Boilermaker Union. He died Feb. 5 from injuries sustained in a highway traffic accident.
He is survived by his wife Tamra Harris; and three sons, Lee Harris, Joey Harris and Aaron Harris. He is also survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Harris and by a brother, John Harris and a sister, Sharon McGee.
Services were conducted by Rev. Milfred Magers. Interment was in Magnolia Cemetery, with Fails Funeral Services in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Burdett Boulware, Skippy Gregory, David Bolen, Russell Summerlin, Larry McGee and Michael Floyd.
